John Abt President
John M. Abt joined Lannett Company as vice president of quality in 2015 and was appointed president of Cody Laboratories in 2018. Prior to joining Lannett, John served as vice president of global quality strategy at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he oversaw the development and implementation of global quality operating plans, standardization and efficiency programs, and offshoring efforts, after taking on a number of quality and operations positions of increasing responsibility in the company.
John earned a Doctorate of Business Administration from Temple University, a Master of Administrative Sciences degree in management from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Niagara University.
Michelle Renfors Vice President
Michelle Renfors joined Cody Laboratories, Inc. in 2012 with over 10 years of product development experience. She heads the Product Development initiatives for the company driving company growth. She leads the Research and Development, Process Technology, Project Management, and Validation departments. Michelle Renfors is responsible for strategic portfolio development for Cody Laboratories.
Michelle Renfors holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah.
Steve Hartman Vice President Compliance
Steve Hartman leads the Quality and Regulatory units at Cody Laboratories, Inc. He joined the company in 2007. Steve Hartman has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries as well as in the management of quality systems. Steve Hartman leads the Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Controlled Substances departments with a collaborative leadership style focused on compliance.
Steve Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Western Washington University.
